- Connect your dongle to you car’s OBD port.
- Start your car.
- Start the app!
- Menu -> Connect -> Bluetooth Connect
- Answer yes to enable bluetooth, if it is not already enabled.
- Choose your device (OBDII) from the list (assuming your device is already paired)
- Wait for connection initialization to complete...
- Menu -> Add Widget -> View Supported PIDs
- Choose a PID from the list that has both an ID (blue, eg. 7E0) and a defined widget (yellow). For example, choose 01:05 Engine Coolant Temperature.
- Choose a widget from the the types dropdown. For example, choose Big Coolant Thermometer.
- Leave physical addressing unchecked.
- Click the Create widget button.
- Press back to return to the main widgets screen.
After a few seconds, your new coolant thermometer should begin showing the temperature.
